You’d have thought that Member States would have already achieved this degree of transparency given our “technological” age.

Unofficially of course they have – now they can do so officially.

All in the quest of ensuring everyone, even the big corporations, pay their “fair share” in tax.

I find “fair share” an incredibly nebulous concept. Surely the aim should be that everyone, especially the big corporations, pay what is legally due from them by way of tax.

It is fair easier, and certain, when dealing with the rule of law to ensure that the law is right and accurate in the first place!
